Creating hyperlinks in your web content is an effective way to capture your reader's attention, keep the content interactive, and provide useful information and resources for your website visitors. Our advice: Use hyperlinks liberally!
To create a hyperlink, simply select the text string (highlight entire text string you wish to link) or image you would like to link from, and click the "Create Hyperlink" icon in the tool bar of the advanced HTML editor, shaped like a chain link.

The web page dialog window for the "Create Hyperlink" tool will open, prompting you to enter the desired URL. Enter the exact full URL you intend to link to. Select "default" as the target for web pages within your own website that you are linking to, and select "blanK" as the target for external web pages on other websites. Click "Ok" and your link will be created.
Please note that you cannot test links from within the editor, but you should be sure to test them through the public browser view of your web page, or through the "View Content" page within the NControl menu.
Linking to documents (pdfs, docs, spreadsheets, etc.) on your website is easy too. Simply FTP the file to a directory on your website (see FTP help file) and then enter the URL for the specific file you want to link to (ie. http://www.yourdomain.com/pdfs/Report.pdf ).
