Jim Nelson founded Internet Solutions in February 1998.  His background in web development started in 1994 as he helped found one of the first ISPs (Internet Service Providers) in Anchorage, Alaska.  He was building web pages before the dawn of Netscape, Yahoo, and Google, even before Microsoft Internet Explorer's first version.

He lives today in Soldotna, Alaska, where he enjoys a low tech lifestyle (fishing, hunting, cross-country skiing, hockey, and tennis) whilst working in the high-tech world of the Internet.
